{"product_id":"east-side-drive","title":"EAST SIDE DRIVE *NEW*","description":"\u003cp\u003e\u003cem\u003e\"There are 2 ways to get to the North Shore of Oahu from Honolulu.  The fastest way is through the middle, H2 highway.  The second is the long way, all the way around the East Side, hugging the waterline, every twist and turn.  Sometimes you get stuck behind a slow car for a long time, but that just gives you more time to look around at all the beautiful, wild countryside and the ocean that comes nearly right up to the highway edge.  Every turn around a bay or through a small town is a new experience with its own atmosphere.  One of my favorites is the view from the parking lot just past Makapu’u Beach, where you can see the Makai Research Station Pier set against endless layers of dramatic headlands and distant shorelines.  It’s one of my favorite viewpoints and worth the extra drive time home.\"\u003c\/em\u003e   \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eイーストサイド・ドライブ ホノルルからオアフ島のノースショアへ向かうルートは、大きく分けて2つあります。最も速いのは、島の中央を縦断するH2ハイウェイを利用するルートです。もう一つは、島の東側をぐるりと大きく回り込む、少し遠回りのルートです。海岸線に沿って進むこの道は、幾重にもカーブが続き、そのたびに景色が表情を変えます。時には、前を走る遅い車に阻まれて、なかなか前に進めないこともあります。しかし、それもまた一興。その分、周囲に広がる美しくも野性味あふれる田園風景や、ハイウェイのすぐ脇まで迫る海をじっくりと眺める時間が生まれるのです。湾を回り込むたび、あるいは小さな町を通り抜けるたびに、その場所ならではの独特な雰囲気に包まれ、新鮮な感動を味わうことができます。私のお気に入りのスポットの一つが、マカプウ・ビーチを少し過ぎたところにある駐車場からの眺めです。そこからは、幾重にも重なり合うドラマチックな岬や遠くの海岸線を背景に、「マカイ海洋研究所」の桟橋が佇む美しい光景を望むことができます。ここは私にとって特にお気に入りの絶景ポイントであり、帰路に多少の遠回りをしてでも立ち寄る価値が十分にある場所なのです。  \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"\u003ePRINTING\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThis open edition digital print is created on heavyweight (100pt) art paper, using professional fade-resistant laser technology.
